White wood with reddish tones
There are two types of maple wood: soft maple wood and hard maple wood. The latter, which is mostly found in the eastern United States and southern Canada, is what we use at Boval London to make our maple wood sunglasses. It is an almost white wood with reddish, semi-hard tones. It is also very often used in the manufacture of furniture and instruments.
