A wood of great beauty
There are several original rosewood varieties in different parts of the world: from Central America, southern Africa, India (almost endangered), Madagascar and Brazil. They are beautiful hardwoods, ranging in colour from yellow-orange to red-brown. Rosewood is a very hard, dense and resistant wood of great beauty, which is used in musical instruments, joinery and high quality furniture, in sculptures and, of course, in our rosewood sunglasses, where brown and reddish colours predominate.
