Black precious wood
Ebony is one of the most valued precious woods. The best known species are native to southern India and Sri Lanka, and also to West Africa. This is the wood we use in the manufacture of our ebony sunglasses. Ebony wood has a very deep black colour and a very high density, so much so that it sinks in water. Its good texture and its ability to polish very smoothly make it a precious wood, very popular for its quality.
