White wood with reddish tones
There are two types of maple wood: soft maple wood and hard maple wood. The latter, found mainly in the eastern United States and southern Canada, is the one we use at Boval London to craft our wooden maple sunglasses. It is an almost white wood with subtle reddish tones and medium hardness. It is also commonly used in the manufacture of furniture and musical instruments.
