Ebony is one of the most highly valued precious woods. The best-known species originate from southern India and Sri Lanka, as well as from West Africa. The variety we use to craft our ebony sunglasses. Ebony wood has a deep, intense black colour and exceptionally density, so much so that it sinks in water. Its fine texture and ability to achieve a smooth polish make it a precious wood, renowned for its outstanding quality.
