Polarized lenses

We’ve all felt that unpleasant moment when a sudden glare leaves us dazzled. There’s no need to explain in depth how it happens — it’s simply sunlight reflecting off a solid surface or water.

Our polarised sunglasses are made from triacetate (TAC), a special material that helps reduce glare. This polarised layer makes your vision much clearer and also helps protect your eyes from potential damage caused by ultraviolet light.

As we mentioned earlier, sunlight scatters in all directions, and when it bounces off flat surfaces, it can create glare that hits your eyes directly. Polarisation blocks this glare, because those bright reflections are far from pleasant — for example, when you’re out walking your dog along a busy street.

When you wear polarised sunglasses, the lenses absorb horizontal light waves and let the vertical ones pass through. Essentially, the light only travels in one direction through polarised lenses, which eliminates glare. That’s why they’re ideal — in fact, the best option — for driving, walking, travelling, and everyday use.
